Abstract
The effect of combined phenformin-stanazolol therapy on blood lipids and fibrinolytic
activity was studied in 20 patients with essential hypertriglyceridaemia. Statistically
significant reduction of triglyceride and cholesterol levels and significant increase
of blood fibrinolytic activity were seen in the course of treatment.
