The impact of different glycaemic index carbohydrate staple foods on south asian diabetic and cardiovascular indices of health: A RCT

      Objective Populations originating from the Indian subcontinent (South Asian) show a particular propensity to develop type 2 diabetes and its associated complications. We aimed to establish the nutritional content and glycaemic index (GI) of carbohydrate staples from a traditional South Asian diet and test their impact on diabetic and cardiovascular indices of health.
