Bisphenol a exerts pro-atherogenic effects through NF-kB activation and down-regulation of apolipoprotein A1 expression in hepatocytes

      Aim: Increasing data indicates pro-atherogenic effects of bisphenol A (BPA), but the underlying mechanisms are unclear. In this study, we investigated whether BPA exerts pro-atherogenic effects through regulation of apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) gene expression.
